Couple’s Therapy
Our partners often hold the biggest mirror to ourselves, challenging us to reflect on how we show up in relationships. These deeply personal and intimate bonds offer not only the clearest map to self-discovery, but also the fastest path to growth—if we allow it.
Couples therapy is often misunderstood as a way to 'fix' problematic behaviours in a partner. In reality, it’s about gaining insight into the inner world of another person and learning how to better support the relationship dynamic.
I firmly believe that everyone can benefit from couples therapy. While there’s no wrong time to begin, the most effective work often happens when therapy is initiated close to the onset of a recurring pattern.
My approach to couples work integrates psychodynamic theory to foster deep individual understanding, emotion-focused therapy to enhance emotional awareness and expression, and Gottman Method techniques to strengthen friendship and intimacy.
Genuine connection is a beautiful thing, and every relationship requires effort. Nurturing the longest and closest bond—second only to the one you have with yourself—is one of the most worthwhile investments you can make.
